Peh Bek is a traditional Korean wedding ceremony. At this ceremony, usually only attended by family and close friends, parents & relatives offer marriage advice, good wishes, and gifts for the newly weds. At the ceremony’s conclusion, parents & relatives toss the dates and chestnuts (symbols of children) at the bride & groom hoping they catch the dates & chestnuts in bride’s long handkerchief. Here are images from Peh bek I recently covered.

I’ve been meeting A LOT of 1 year olds lately. They are all part of Chinese astrology’s Golden Pig year, which comes once every 600 years, bestowing extra helpings of wealth and good fortune. And it seems like they were all born in August. hahaha. This little cutie pie is going to have her first birthday in August. She is so sweet with a bubbling personality. I loved her funny glasses!

I got a taste of sports photography by attending the AT&T National at the BEAUTIFUL Congressional Country Club. Hyon provided the media pass from IMG for this special event. Too bad Tiger Woods couldn’t make it but I wish him a speedy recovery. Huge props to two Korean golfers – last year’s winner, KJ Choi and this year’s winner, Anthony Kim.

I know twins are more common these days but I’m still fascinated by them. What’s more fascinating than twins? TRIPLETS! Meet Kang triplets – Elliot, Joelle and Samuel. They are precious children to old family friend and I finally got to meet the triplets. All 3 have a personality of their own and I couldn’t get enough of each of them. Their mom keeps a blog about adventures of raising multiples. Check them out!
