I first met Peter in one of Hyon’s workshops. He’s an amazing photographer and I’ve always admired his work. So when he asked me to cover his son’s 1st birthday party, I almost fainted. But I couldn’t resist the offer to meet his cuties. Naomi has the biggest smile & personality in all of Maryland and Tobi – well, he’s just cute as a button. These two were professionals in front of the camera.
I’m going to Tobi’s birthday party this weekend but here are previews from the outdoor session.

Break time – M&M Cookies!

Getting Ready for family picture . . .

There . . . Perfect!

I think Toby might have a career in break dancing – look at his moves!

I’ve been neglecting my dear husband and our Westie since I’ve been working many sessions on weekends. But this past weekend, I had a rare free morning so we decided to take the dog out to Old Town, Alexandria.
Bentley was really excited to hit Old Town in beautiful Fall weather.

We saw this cool abandoned train tunnel and decided to have some fun around it.

The race

The other side through the tunnel revealed a beautiful neighborhood right along the Potomac River.

The race made Bentley tired. Does anyone else’s dog fall asleep while standing up like this?

This little cookie was born 2 months ago at 5 lbs 7 oz. At 2 months old, she is cute as a button, has chubby bubbly cheeks and is a natural in front of the camera – it didn’t even matter whether she was sleeping or awake. I got to spend entire day with her and she let me capture her poses.

Precious Avery celebrated her first birthday while I was in Chicago and I was so bummed to miss the festivities. Since I saw her last, she’s learned to walk and become very mobile.
I was thrilled when girls’ mom suggested a hanbok session. The session location we met matched their hanbok colors very well too. These girls make my job so easy!!

and one of my favorites – she tumbled over and got stuck for a while . . . so cute!

DC is having an unusually warm Fall season . . . Its already mid October but our temperature is still hanging around 70-80 degrees. This warm weather is allowing additional opportunities to meet more cuties – like this fabulous family! It rained days leading up to the session but the clouds cleared just in time for us to get started.

Alex celebrated his first birthday in style. Although Alex turned only 1, his birthday was attended by many friends, decorated with fun balloons (by littlebuddiloons) and delicious birthday cupcakes. All his friends are definite cuties!

Couple of Sundays ago, Desiree & Joe came all the way from Baltimore to have their Esession at our favorite spot in Georgetown. They were beautiful, spontaneous and so much fun to be around. It really turned out to be one of my favorite session this year! Joe’s Philly Eagles were playing during the photo shoot, so I gave him live updates from my iphone
!
Congratulations to Claire! She has a new blog! Please check it out at www.clairechoiphoto.com!

Last month, I visited the windy city for the first time to attend Audrey Woulard’s (My FAVORITE photographer) workshop. Her work is amazing and I got to see the master at work. She invited a family of 5 to come model for the workshop. Can you believe these kids belong to 1 family?
