Wedding | Shawn + Olivier

Its been a while but I finally got a chance to get together with Hyon Smith to second shoot Shawn & Olivier’s wedding at the Audubon Naturalist Society’s Woodend. I knew Shawn from back in the day when our high school swim/dive teams practiced at the same recreation center. Who would’ve ever guessed that I’d be photographing her wedding. haha . . . strange how things work out.

Wedding | Justyne & Matt

Congratulations to Justyne & Matt, who got married at Hyatt – Dulles with a beautiful ceremony and par-tay’d the night away! EVERYONE got down on the dance floor! And I loved every little detail of their wedding from their flowers, cake, programs, favors, etc . . . it definitely was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve been part of. Congratulations happy couple!

Justyne & Matt had a beautiful wedding at the Hyatt Dulles few weeks ago. But before I blog the images from their special day, I have to rewind and blog some good times we had during their esession.

My friend Inhar Chong invited me to photograph a wedding for Christina & Peter. Christina was so outgoing and fun, I hardly felt like I was working at this wedding. Its all about the bride!!

Wedding | Marie + Jim

So yea . . . its been over a week since I’ve updated my blog but I have a very good reason for the delay. I’m wrapping up editing images from Jim & Marie’s wedding – which was held during one Saturday that didn’t rain here around DC area. Its been raining for past 2 months every single weekend. (Go away rain!) No rain but strong winds provided some dramatic effects with Marie’s dress & veil.

And a huge shout out to Paul & Inhar for gathering awesome images.

So here’s the story of their wedding and how beautiful that day was – hopefully we’ll get a nice sunny weekend here soon.

Old Town Chic Wedding

I first met Sara and Nick during their Cherry Blossoms engagement session with Hyon Smith. I remembered them as fun and hip couple. I was delighted when Hyon invited me to assist their wedding in Old Town Alexandria VA.

Their special day was held in the new chic Hotel Monaco. They couple reminded me of old hollywood glamour. Sara looked like Audrey Hepburn in her wedding dress! Every detail of their wedding was just perfect. Here are some images from their lovely day. Check out the cupcakes!

Ceresville Mansion Wedding

Congratulations to Patrick & Eunice!  Their wedding was at the beautiful Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, MD.  I was so grateful to be part of this super dooper sweet couple’s special day and to capture the moments for them.  Previews . . .

Traditional Korean Wedding Ceremony

Peh Bek is a traditional Korean wedding ceremony. At this ceremony, usually only attended by family and close friends, parents & relatives offer marriage advice, good wishes, and gifts for the newly weds. At the ceremony’s conclusion, parents & relatives toss the dates and chestnuts (symbols of children) at the bride & groom hoping they catch the dates & chestnuts in bride’s long handkerchief.  Here are images from Peh bek I recently covered.
