There are some sessions where I will have to wait patiently for children to warm up to me . . . which doesn’t bother me since I love being around them. These 3 boys however had no reservation. They were funny, rambunctious, goofy and 100% boys! Each had their own unique personality and I got the chance to capture the boys being boys.
Here’s a sneak peak for mom & dad.

Meet Santa’s little helper, Emma Grace. She is the cutest 6 month old ever! Yes, EVER! I might be partially biased since she is my niece.
Quick Announcement – I will be closing 12/23 – 1/4/2009. I will be checking my emails periodically so don’t panic if I don’t respond right away. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions. Thank you!
Now – Meet Santa’s little helper . . .

If you’ve been following my blog for past couple of months, you probably noticed that I’ve been photographing lots of CUTE babies. So when I met up with this toddler, it felt strange to have a photo subject taking direction and talking back to me. But I had alot of fun with this toddler. LOVE HER SPUNK! *check out the 2nd to last image on this post*

I found a special poem that described this session. Here’s the preview for Mom and her son. Enjoy!
“The bond between mother and son is a special one.
It remains unchanged by time or distance.
It is the purest love ~ unconditional and true.
….
It is always there, ~ anytime, anywhere ~ whenever it is needed.
It is a gift held in the heart and in the soul,
and it cannot be taken away or exchanged for another.
To possess this love is a treasure that makes life more valuable.”

Last month, I visited the windy city for the first time to attend Audrey Woulard’s (My FAVORITE photographer) workshop. Her work is amazing and I got to see the master at work. She invited a family of 5 to come model for the workshop. Can you believe these kids belong to 1 family?

I went over to Ryan & Alex’s house for their photo session. They have a HUGE backyard so I took the boys and few of their favorite toys and let them loose. Ryan loves his lawn mower – just like daddy. Alex is only 10 months old so he got in Push-Around Buggy – a must have for parents with toddlers.

I finally got together with fabulous Miss “M” and her sweet younger sister “A” over the weekend. HOW CUTE ARE THEY? Both girls were so much fun to work with! Even the weather seemed to cooperate with us. It was supposed to rain the entire weekend but it stopped just for the photo session – the sun even peaked a little. Here are the results.
