Ollie & Kyle live in NJ but they came to VA to celebrate Kyle’s first birthday with their extended family. And I was fortunate enough to meet up with them in Old Town for casual family photo session. I loved working with these two boys. Ollie showed me all the poses he practiced with his aunt (thank you auntie – you rock!) and Kyle was so chilled out. Check out their session!

Hip hip hooray! My baby niece has turned 1! For those of you who follow my blog, you might recognize her from this post. Look how much she’s grown in 6 months! I’m so proud of her. Although she lives in California, she came to DC for her 1 year portrait session. So this proud aunt took her out to town.

Sometimes, it just happens. Its hard not to fall these cuties!

I met up with Baby Taeil couple of weeks ago and we just hit it off. This baby just opened his arms out to me and came into my arms within first 10 seconds of our first meeting. And the best part – he didn’t let go. It was like I’ve known this baby his whole life – all 12 months! It was a great start to a fabulous 1st year portrait session. HOW CUTE IS HE??? When he got into his hanbok, it reminded me of some Korean royalty. Check it out!

My friend Inhar Chong invited me to photograph a wedding for Christina & Peter. Christina was so outgoing and fun, I hardly felt like I was working at this wedding. Its all about the bride!!

Meet my new buddy, Micah. I’m going to document his first year so I’ll be seeing a lot of him. This cutie was a joy to photograph. And for his very first photo session, I think he did pretty well. I’m already planning his next session!

No matter how packed my schedule gets – I cannot pass up on a chance to photograph a newborn baby. This little princess was 7 days old for her first professional photography session. I had to share some of this sweet infant’s portraits. Enjoy!

Boys will be boys!

There are some sessions where I will have to wait patiently for children to warm up to me . . . which doesn’t bother me since I love being around them. These 3 boys however had no reservation. They were funny, rambunctious, goofy and 100% boys! Each had their own unique personality and I got the chance to capture the boys being boys.

I’ve been on tilt waiting for Canon’s 5dmk2. So when I FINALLY received my very own 5dmk2, I couldn’t wait for a scheduled session. I headed over to my sister-in-law’s house. After all, they have 4 kids that I can photograph. The older two boys (Jacob & Nicholas) were out and about but Lydia and Sammy were home.

My new year started with this 3 month old bubba. Yes, 3 months old!! He can already lift his head and even roll his body over. I just wanted to eat him up!
